Are you up on your oral health? There are so many different parts to your mouth, so keeping it clean should be priority! Your teeth, gums and tongue need to be kept up on a daily basis, or else you can risk decay or infection.

1) You should never share your toothbrush with anyone!

2) Whatever you eat, the germs in your mouth eat.

10) Dental decay is the second most prevalent disease in the United States.

11) Raisins and dried fruits can cause more tooth decay than chocolate.

12) Eating apples, carrots, celery and other raw vegetables and fruits will keep your teeth clean.

13) In ancient times, toothpicks were made of bone, quills, silver or gold.

14) You should replace your toothbrush every three to four months.

15) Snails have about 25,000 teeth on their tongue.
